No good reason for it either.

2 hours, 40 minutes until punch out.

then its a hour long drive home

I need a redbull.

Also I have the GLK for today. I just want my own dam car back dam it
(when it snows, mom takes the lexus as its better in snow then the E-tron is...e tron has shitty winters and only FWD, where as lexus is AWESOME tires and AWD)

today, the Audi woudlnt even leave the driveway. so I took the GLK.

Do you enjoy driving an IS daily?

I like the GLK. It’s better than the C wagon. Maybe better than the E wagon.

There, I said it.

I do. its a comfy car, its fairly understated but elegant, well built, chomps up the miles no issue.

mine (the 250 awd) is a GREAT winter car with the right tires.

the IS-F is WAY faster but a little lower.

complaints:
Id like nav (mine doesnt have it)
206hp and its fuel consumption. id like either 300hp or to get under 10L/100km
also, would like more bass in sound system

and issue specific to my car: the paint is crap on it. no one has ever taken care of it and its COVERED in swirls and scratiches. I plan on spending like $1500 to get it fixxed in the summer, along with a set of enkei RPF1s for it.

for as big as it feels, it can MOVE. also tows like a DREAM

IDK if I would have bought it as an only car (Id prefer the E 250 bluetech...same drivetrain, but in the eclass) because I dont like driving something so tall. but its not bad at all.

Ah. That’s the one color I was trying to avoid because it gets hotter then the devils backside 3-5 months a year and I did not want to accentuate that.

Is the GLK a Bluetec?

I don’t mind the tallness as long as it comes with actual visibility, which the GLK does. Slightly more roll than a car, but not enough to keep me away.

I wish I liked the M-class/GLE more, though. It seems like a big leap from the smaller one, both in price and blandness.

its been good. I dont like the shifter looking like the wiper stalks, and the washers and wipers themselfs seem really weak (something I noticed this morning on my way in...the wipers on my lexus and moms audi are WAY better.

But for a 4400lb lump of GERMAN its pulls pretty good. comfy, relaxed, and gets 25+ mpg with a heavy right foot too. cant complain

its not that the cars suck. Objectivly, both the audi and the merc are FAR better cars then my lexus is.

But my lexus is MINE. has my radio presets, my stuff in it, my phone charges, its as clean as I like to keep my car. and I think its the prettiest car we have right now too.

I’d probably think the same of my kia, even if my dad has a Summit grand cherokee that is S O F A N C Y

But additionally, this passat is just laughable, its the old 2.5 5 cyl and it doesn’t do anything right.

Interesting about the wipers. I’m not familiar with any other brands, but haven’t had any issues with GLK ones unless the blades are worn out or there’s some other issue

Glad you like it though.

it might very well be.

also, the squirters suck. it takes like a solid 15 seconds before they start to squirt up on the actual windscreen.

minor niggles.

That delay is not normal.

Kinja'd!!! bob and john > AMGtech - now with more recalls!
02/07/2018 at 16:44

Kinja'd!!!0

there is no delay int he squirters working...but its VER weak on only barely gets to the bottom of the windscreen.

either way, something I will look at when its NOT -6 outside and dropping 7 inches of snows on my commute

Oh gotcha. Still unusual! Normally they’ll hit around hallway or 3/4 up the windshield with plenty of power. The nozzles might just be gunked up, but sometimes if people put the wrong type of fluid in the reservoir it’ll coagulate and plug up the pump.

Kinja'd!!! bob and john > AMGtech - now with more recalls!

intresting point: on the way home, it seemed to clear up...but it went through an entire bottle of fluid in like...10 or 12 squirts.

*sigh*

250?

My DD is an E250 Bluetec 4Matic. Great car. For modern MBs, I think this is ideal. The V6s don’t endear me so much, I want either a V8 or small diesel.

though I think if we got the 350 bluetech My dad would have bought that. oh well.

I feel you pain. My VR4 was great, except forthe fact the 50% of the time it was sitting being worked on so I either had to bike, get a ride, or take my wife’s car places.

Weird. Hopefully it hasn’t developed a leak too!

Kinja'd!!! bob and john > AMGtech - now with more recalls!

Kinja'd!!!0

Update. It most certianly is leaking. Give it a squirt and if i open the hood, washer fluid from under the squirters. So either a bad connection or a burst hose -.-
